Give their parents some credit, they know a product not suitable for children when they see it. I've seen some parents still allow children have horror-genre game related merchandise such as FNAF, Bendy and the Ink Machine, Hello Neighbor, and Poppy Playtime. These parents were smart and responsible enough to read the age rating from your merchandise and opted their kids from discovering Skitzo in an early age. It would be better if their parents explained why your toy was for older kids, teens, or even adults, and that they could get it when they're older, but then again the kid who wanted it first was aware it was a "killer bear" and still wanted it, so it was still somewhat a "flag" that shows how exposed he was to "higher" violent content

Edit: being taught about reality from fiction at an early age is actually a pretty important lesson, I'll agree with that.

A toy bear is hardly the item that breeds serial killers. Personally, I was given more credit as a child and they taught me reality from fiction at an early age, so I could gladly get scary movies/toys and monster films and know it's just fake stuff meant for entertainment. But to each his own.

If these shorts that are now being released were unreleased before, when were these shorts finished producing? I know that this show's second season was cut short due to cancellation so seeing them now seems strange for Nick/Paramount to be releasing them, doesn't seem like they're interested in promoting them now after their decision. Unless they are considering renewing this series due to the movie's influence towards it's viewers and the internet.

We finished animated those shorts around 2019-2020, they were unreleased for years till recently after the movie released.
